Crispy treats and the new bike

Welcome to day two of my blog. Today the cat wants to play… She just brought over a ball and dropped it near my feet. I tossed it to the back of the house and she just sat there… watching it bounce. Then she looked at me as if to say “now, go get it, I wanted to play with that.”

I am done with that game for now. On to blogging~ I am amazed that I have, in the past, eaten a whole pan of Rice Crispy Treats! That is SIX cups of cereal and a whole bag of marshmallows in one sitting. No, I didn’t eat the whole pan this time. But there have been days when a friend and I would make a pan for us and a pan for the room mates and our other friends. Gosh, that was a while ago. I could still eat the whole pan by myself, but I have my son and husband to help me and the scale to answer too (even if I did try it). No matter how good they taste… SIX cups of cereal and a whole bag of marshmallows are not on the list! ~I think I am trying to convince myself not to get up again and get another square of those ooey-gooey, sweet, crunchy, delightful treats.

And now I am going to try to distract myself on purpose... As you can see by the photo, my dear son is having a delightful time on his new bike. It is so much fun to see him ride up and down the driveway.
